Robert started his first company providing landscaping and construction services in 1999 in Washington. In 2015 he was fishing for salmon on the Columbia River when a cute fish checker named Nancy caught his eye. He offered to buy her a drink after she was off work and she decided to take this handsome fisherman up on his offer. They quickly found out that they both had a passion for fishing and hunting and instantly hit it off and from that day on they were inseparable.

 

Many fishing trips, countless adventures and three Pendleton Round-Ups later, Robert proposed to Nancy and they got married in August of 2019 in Pilot Rock, OR. 

 

Nancy, was born and raised in Pendleton, a former 2010 Pendleton Round-Up princess, so this is where they began there search for a place to call home. After countless trips, they finally found their slice of heaven on the Umatilla River outside of Pendleton. On 55 acres with the blue mountains in their backyard, they are now raising their beautiful baby girl Lidia Mae, who joined the Vert crew January 2021. 

 

Nancy is going on her fourth year of teaching while Robert is your go to general contactor for all your projects big and small.
